Our owners have been a proud part of the Palm Coast community for over 50 years!
The journey with National eBike began long before the business officially opened its doors. After moving to Palm Coast with his family in 1976 and graduating from Flagler-Palm Coast High School in 1983, Frank went on to serve in the United States Air Force and successfully build several businesses.
When Frank returned home to Palm Coast in 2012, he was amazed by the city’s incredible transformation. The area had grown to over 85,000 residents and featured more than 200 miles of scenic, paved bike trails. During his time away, Frank had developed a deep passion for electric bikes and the unique freedom they bring to riders of all ages and abilities. Leveraging his engineering background, he quickly mastered the technical side of e-bike technology. This expertise, combined with his love for riding, ultimately inspired him to establish National eBike to share that same excitement with others.
Frank soon realized that Palm Coast and the greater tri-county area lacked a local resource for electric bikes, specialized service, and rider education. In January 2020, he founded National eBike to give local residents and visitors a welcoming, no-pressure environment to rent, test ride, and purchase quality electric bikes.
From day one, the company focused on promoting outdoor recreation and the e-bike lifestyle. They introduced private and group tours throughout the community—including the inaugural Palm Coast Historical Society Electric Bike Tour—showing off the area’s rich history and natural beauty in a fun, innovative way.
As e-bikes surged in popularity, local needs evolved beyond rentals and tours. Cyclists needed a trusted local partner for expert guidance, professional assembly, routine tune-ups, and specialized repairs. National eBike rose to meet the demand, becoming the region’s premier full-service e-bike dealership and service center.

Once you have a list of models that interest you, the real fun begins: free test rides!
Before you hit the path, our team will walk you through the operation of each model, covering critical safety procedures, riding tips, and best practices. We will explain all the do’s and don’ts so you can ride with absolute confidence and safety.
Next, we will fit you with a certified safety helmet and escort you to our clean, private test-drive area located directly adjacent to our facility. This dedicated riding space is entirely free from vehicle traffic and pedestrian congestion, creating a peaceful and comfortable environment to test out your options. Our expert staff will remain right nearby to answer questions, make adjustments, and help you compare how different models handle.
