How It All Started

Our owner (Frank) moved with his family to Palm Coast in 1976.  There were just several hundred residents and just a few bike trails.  After graduating from Flagler-Palm Coast HS in 1983, Frank joined the United States Air Force.  Following his USAF career and several successful business ventures, Frank returned to Palm Coast in 2012.  Remarkably, he discovered over 85K residents and 200+ paved miles of bike trails.  During his time away from Palm Coast, Frank became familiar with the joys of electric bikes.  His engineering background afforded him the ability to quickly grasp the technical aspects of the industry too.  His interest quickly evolved from a hobby to a passion, and now the business it is today.

Electric Transformation

Frank realized that Palm Coast (and the greater tr-county area) lacked electric bike resources.  Frank opened National eBike in 2020 to provide locals and tourists the chance to rent and purchase an electric bike.  National eBike provided private and group electric bike tours, including the inaugural Palm Coast Historical Society’s Electric Bike Tour.  By the fall of 2020 it became clear customers needed a quality electric bike shop that focused on sales and service. National eBike quickly shifted from rentals to sales, providing the community top quality electric bikes and services at affordable prices. National eBike is here to stay and will grow with its community and desire for “Effortless Electric Adventures“®
